Peninsula Community Health Services present Care To Jazz Festival. Join us for this special evening featuring a sumptuous buffet dinner, dancing, silent auction and jazz performances by the Don Alverson Trio and the Jazz Ambassadors. No-host cocktails. Semiformal/business attire suggested.$50.00 per person $500 for a table of 10. Proceeds from Care To Jazz benefit the Dr. Edwin G. Tegenfeldt Patient Care Fund. This is used to pay for ancillary services like x-rays, lab work, blood tests, and prescription medication for uninsured and underinsured patients.

The Kitsap County Domestic Task Force will be hosting its sixth annual community picnic at 5pm Tuesday at Evergreen-Rotary Park. There will be face-painting, clowns, and free barbecue.Donations will be accepted at the event.The tasl force's aim is to educate the community about domestic violence, and promote victim safety and perpetrator accountability.
